On 21 October 2026, NVIDIA announced new tools for its open-source NVIDIA Agent Toolkit, software that helps businesses build and manage AI agents using their own internal data. According to the company, the update adds the NVIDIA Agent Knowledge Foundation, which includes a new Auto-Ontology library designed to turn raw company information into everyday business categories such as customers, products and orders. The toolkit also includes OpenShell, which sets a secure boundary so companies can control what an agent can access and do.

According to the announcement, NVIDIA's supply chain team is working with Palantir to run specialised agents on internal data, while Databricks and Snowflake are bringing NVIDIA Kumo models into their platforms. The company also said ServiceNow cut search delays by nearly a quarter, SAP's search-ranking tool ran nearly 3 times faster, and Zoom is using Nemotron Retriever models to improve document understanding and search in Zoom AI Services.
