On 23 October 2026, G42 announced that it and five of its portfolio companies had signed memoranda of understanding with Greek government and private-sector partners to explore developing artificial intelligence infrastructure and applications in Greece, in line with European Union regulations. Under agreements with Copelouzos Group, Khazna would build the physical facilities for a proposed AI factory while Core42 would supply cloud and AI computing power for government, banking, shipping and telecommunications.
Presight plans to work with Greece’s Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence on testing AI software that can plan and carry out multi-step tasks, known as agentic AI, for municipal waste management and water-network monitoring using open and computer-generated data. Inception42 plans to work with the same ministry on AI tools for cabinet meetings, educational AI tutors and training for public officials. Separately, M42 signed a memorandum of understanding with Athens LifeTech Park to collaborate on life sciences and genetic sequencing infrastructure, including research into oncology and rare genetic diseases. The partners will now work to set the scope and timelines for each project, which remain subject to final agreements and regulatory approvals.
